SEALED BIDS will be received at the office of the Rootstown Road Superintendent, 3988 St. Rt. 44 (lower level), Rootstown, OH 44272 until 1:00 p.m., E.S.T. on September 28, 2010 for furnishing all labor, equipment, any and all appurtenances needed to replace a culvert on Lynn Road, Rootstown Township.

Bids will be opened, read aloud and tabulated at 5:30 p.m., E.S.T. on September 28, 2010 at the Rootstown Township Town Hall, 3988 St. Rt. 44 (upper level), Rootstown OH 44272.

All bids must be submitted on the Bid Forms included in the proposal. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid or a bid guarantee in the full amount of the bid, to guarantee that if said bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of it properly secured. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a bond in the sum of 100% of the contract price for the faithful performance of the contract.

Attention to bidders is particularly called to the minimum prevailing state wage rates required to be paid, established by the State of Ohio, Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Women, Minors and Minimum Wage.

The Rootstown Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof.
