A special meeting of the Rootstown Township Trustees opened at 5:45 p.m. on April 7, 2010. Those in attendance were Trustees Diane Dillon and Bonnie Howe, JoAnn Townend, Fiscal Officer and Road Superintendent Darrell Stephens.

The meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m.

The purpose of the special meeting was to open bids for the purchase of One 2009 or newer 1 Ц ton truck.

Only one bid was received from West Gate Ford Truck Sales, Inc. and was opened and read aloud by JoAnn Townend, Fiscal Officer.

The bid was for a 2009 Ford, F550, 4 x 4, Diesel Truck. The bid price was $45,771.80 less a rebate of $6,500.00 and less the trade-in value of $10,500.00 for the 2001 Ford F450 serial number 1FDXF47F51EC13525 for a total bid amount of $28,801.80.

Resolution No. 2010-057 Ц Motion made by Bonnie Howe and seconded by Diane Dillon to purchase the above truck from West Gate Ford Truck Sales in the amount of $28,801.80. The purchase will be made from the general fund motor vehicle line. Upon roll call the vote was as follows: Bonnie Howe, yea; Diane Dillon, yea.
