The rescheduled meeting of the Rootstown Township Trustees opened at 5:30 p.m. on December 27, 2007. Those in attendance were Trustees Bonnie Howe, Diane Dillon and David Armentrout, and JoAnn Townend, Fiscal Officer.

The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m.

Resolution No. 2007-196 - Motion made by Bonnie Howe and seconded by Diane Dillon to approve the minutes of December 11, 2007. Upon roll call the vote was as follows: David Armentrout, yea; Diane Dillon, yea; Bonnie Howe, yea.

The public hearing for Zoning Commission amendments 2007-008, 009, and 010 was opened at 5:33 p.m.

David Armentrout reviewed Zoning Commission amendment 2007-008 that was recommended for adoption.

Resolution No. 2007-197 - Motion made by Bonnie Howe and seconded by Diane Dillon to remove the redundant footnote on Schedule 320.04 and to delete the word "restricted" where it precedes "open space" in Chapter 320 as proposed y the Zoning Commission. Upon roll call the vote was as follows: David Armentrout, yea; Diane Dillon, yea; Bonnie Howe, yea.

David Armentrout reviewed Zoning Commission amendment 2007-009 that was recommended for adoption.

Resolution No. 2007-198 - Motion made by Bonnie Howe and seconded by Diane Dillon to add a density formula for the Planned Residential Development regulations as proposed by the Zoning Commission. Upon roll call the vote was as follows: David Armentrout, yea; Diane Dillon, yea; Bonnie Howe, yea.

David Armentrout reviewed Zoning Commission amendment 2007-010 that was recommended for adoption.

Resolution No. 2007-199 - Motion made by Bonnie Howe and seconded by Diane Dillon to modify schedule 320,05E to decrease the maximum density and increase the minimum open space regulations as proposed by the Zoning Commission. Upon roll call the vote was as follows: David Armentrout, yea; Diane Dillon, yea; Bonnie Howe, yea.

Resolution No. 2007-201 - Motion by Bonnie Howe and seconded by Diane Dillon to approve the 2008 appropriations. Upon roll call the vote was as follows: David Armentrout, yea; Diane Dillon, yea; Bonnie Howe, yea.

Resolution No. 2007-202 — Motion made by David Armentrout and seconded by Bonnie Howe to enter into executive session at 6:10 p.m. to discuss zoning commission and zoning board of appeals personnel issues. Upon roll call the vote was as follows: David Armentrout, yea; Diane Dillon, yea; Bonnie Howe, yea.

Resolution No. 2007-203 — Motion made by David Armentrout and seconded by Bonnie Howe to exit executive session at 6:48 p.m. Upon roll call the vote was as follows: David Armentrout, yea; Diane Dillon, yea; Bonnie Howe, yea.

Resolution No. 2007-204 - Motion by David Armentrout and seconded by Bonnie Howe to appoint the following: Zoning Commission members: Robert Baumgardner until 2012, Ann Marie Mullenix (alternate) until 12/31/08 and Patricia Harmon (alternate) until 12/31/08; Zoning Board of Appeals members: David Harmon until 2012, Jim Manion (alternate) until 12/31/08 and Jennifer Milnes (alternate) until 12/31/08. Upon roll call the vote was as follows: David Armentrout, yea; Diane Dillon, yea; Bonnie Howe, yea.

Resolution No. 2007-205 - Motion by Bonnie Howe and seconded by Diane Dillon to adjourn at 6:50 p.m.
